August: Favourites

August is nearly over already! Which means a month since the start of this blog! I decided it would be a great time to do a favourites post, I don't think these will be monthly posts as I don't change favourites too often. As it has been a month for you all to get to know me this is an add on to those posts.

First I will start with you-tubers, I have been obsessed with YouTube for a while but I now watch videos daily, more than TV. (Which is saying something because I love TV haha)

Louise is amazing, she always makes me laugh but she also is an amazing person. If you like beauty hauls, vlogs (with her adorable babyglitter) and just general awesome videos I would check her out! Louise also runs a blog visit it here.

Very different to Louise, these channels are dedicated to gaming and hilarious skits. A lot more swearing and chaos but they have me laughing everytime.
I got addicted to their videos 2 years ago and now watch them everyday.
I was even Lucky enough to meet two of them (Michael and Lindsay) at Supanova this year!

I'm not overly involved with beauty products and make-up etc. But I wanted to put this product in my favourites.

Tea Tree Oil
I get a few break outs every now and then and I've never really found anything right for me, most face washes or products that keep pimples away usually make my skin either burn or dry completely up. Tea tree oil being more natural was a blessing to my skin and pimples dried up literally over night and my skin got a lot clearer. You only need to dap a tiny drop on just the pimple so even though it is a tad expensive it last a while.
(Please note I am no skin expert so I'm not sure if it will work on all skin types)

I'm mentioning three books, one is an all time favourite as it was one of the first novels I read as a kid, number two is an absolute favourite and number three is my most recent read.

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
I fell in love immediately with this book as a child, I am an avid reader of fantasy and as this wasn't particularly the common fairytale magic I found how amazing it was that these characters found magic of a different kind within themselves and the world around them. I also don't usually reread books but this is one I read every year.
Please give it a read :)

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
"The circus arrives without warning"
This book was one my mum bought for herself, the cover grabbed my attention straight away (I've always wanted to run away with a circus) so as soon as she had finished I grabbed it and ran to my room. I was not disappointed.
Erin's writing style and the world she created had me in love with it by page one. I was so involved with the world and characters that every time I put the book down I felt like I was in a dream like state.
I've never wanted to go to a circus more than 'Le Cirque des Reves'.
Full of wonderful magic, friendships, romance and the most impressive circus tents you could imagine, 'The Night Circus' is everything and more.

Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
I am an avid watcher of Game of Thrones so I was determined to read the books (because we all know books are way better). Luckily I got the set for Christmas! I recently finished book one and I'm now reading the second. I was amazed at how much of the show took lines right from the book! But as always there was way more detail. The world is amazing and its a great read!
I'm very excited to read the rest.

I read a lot of blogs so I am going to say my favourite is the first blog I ever followed and would wait for the next post eagerly.
My friend actually suggested I start reading the blog 2 years ago and I've loved it ever since!

This blog is run by a lovely women called James and she blogs about family life, outfits, travel and home.
I love seeing where shes been, her worn posts and what she is up to. A bit similar to Louise (I seem to follow a lot of mum blogs don't worry I'm not having kids any time soon).
If I could aspire to have an awesome family, home and style these two would be my inspirations.

So those are just a few of my favourites, I hope you enjoyed reading them. I'm also hoping to do more reviews or quick reactions to books on my bookshelf to give you an insight on my reading life haha
I may do this again in future, and maybe sometimes just in smaller posts about one particular thing.
:)

If you have any favourites that you want me to check out comment below or write them on my facebook or twitter!

Love,
